Experiments
Four ways to show the example.
The example currently explains a market across seven pages of prose. Every figure in it is real, and almost none of it is visible. These are four candidate treatments of the same research, built on the whole run rather than the fifteen accounts the existing pages carry. The company doing the selling in all four is TieOut, a demo company we invented; the banks, the filings and the dates are real. Nothing here replaces anything yet.
The market map
All 1,921 companies on one canvas, scored on fit and timing. The fifteen with published evidence are clickable: open one and the record behind both scores slides in beside it. Replaces the explorer and the account page with a single object.
02The standard as a filter
The thirteen criteria become switches. Turn one off and watch the market that carries it drop out of the field. The prevalence figures stop being percentages in a table and become the size of a thing you can see.
03Why the obvious cuts fail
The same market coloured two ways: by the grouping we kept, and by company size, the grouping the research rejected. One separates the market by thirty-one points of fit. The other moves it by two. You watch the separation collapse.
04What changed in three days
One account, read twice. Evidence that was true on 18 September and gone by the 21st, shown as the record before and after rather than described in a sentence. The argument for reading a market again, made by the market.
What we build, eight ways.
The capabilities page explains the product in 843 words and shows none of it. These are eight ways of showing it instead, each built on the same real example: four from the first round, three fresh ones after it, and the five-step flow. The current page stays live until one of them is chosen.
Show the output
The same page, with a real piece of work in every section. The market map leads, and the capabilities are grouped by the team whose question they answer, each carrying a picture of what it actually returns.
One account, every reading
One fully sourced account at the centre of the page. Each capability is a switch that lights up the part of that record it reads, so the idea that they all share one piece of research is something you see rather than read.
The film
A short captioned film made from the real screens, from a ranked row to the account behind it to the brief a rep would open with, and the page that carries the rest of the explanation around it.
One market, one scroll
A single picture that changes as you scroll: the whole market, then the part that meets the standard, then its ranking, then one account and its brief. Each capability is a step in one continuous view.
The plant drawing
The engine drawn as an engineering drawing of a real pipeline: sources flow in, your written standard is the vessel, and each capability is a valve you can open on its own, with the real output hanging from it on a tag.
Pick the signal
A one-minute game. Pick the signal you would bet finds the banks worth calling, and the real market of 1,921 banks answers. Most instincts lose, and the page shows what the right standard finds instead.
The five steps
What we build, in the order we build it: what we collect about your company, the lens it becomes, your target market read through it, the accounts to engage pushed into your CRM with the people to call, and the market insights. Each step opens the real thing.
The market timetable
The market as a departures board of dated events still to come at real banks. Read it again and exactly one row changes, which is what a monthly read of your market looks like.
